Icicle Craft
Icicles are so fascinating.
Growing up in Seattle, we didnt have many of them.
So when I moved to the midwest, I was attracted to them.
How they form and how big they can actually get.
My daughter has the same fascination.
We made these tinfoil icicles this time and it was so much fun!
Supplies Needed:
The first thing we did was rip off a piece of tinfoil.
We didnt measure, but I would guess it was probably about 1212 inches.
Now make this piece into a triangle.
This will help make the tapering look of a true icicle.
Now literally crinkle the tinfoil up into an icicle shape.
It was loosely crinkled up.
This way we could just dip the icicle into the white glue and then dip it in the glitter.
We lightly put the icicle in the white glue.
I didnt want it to be completely covered in glitter, just lightly touched with it.
When the white glue dried, we added a loop to the icicle so we could hang it.
For the loop we used yarn, but any string or thread would work.
This isnt a heavy icicle.
BUT that doesnt mean that white glue wouldnt work.
The possibilities are endless and there is no right way to make them!
Weve got lots of fun ideas for you to try!
