Watermelon Playdough
Our family loves whipping up batches ofdiy play dough!
Now bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
Once the water is boiling, transfer the water to a bowl and add in the oil.
After mixing thoroughly, add in the dry ingredients.
Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes or until it is cool enough to handle.
Watermelon Activity
Once yourkool aid playdoughis cool enough to handle, separate the mixture into two balls.
About 1/4 of the dough will be the watermelon rind and the other 3/4ths the juicy red fruit.
To keep hands clean, I like to add food coloring in a ziplock bag.
Using whatever method you like, add green food dye to your smaller ball and mix together.
For your large ball, add in your packet of kool-aid.
Now make the red playdough into flat circle and add in dry black beans to look like seeds.
