Cake for Lunch!The cake was actually meatloaf baked in round baking pans. I finished it off by plucking on peas & carrots as a garnish. Not only did it look awesome, it was actually delicious! My husband thinks its the best meatloaf hed ever had. I think the masked potatoes helped keep moisture in the meatloaf.

Should your kids go to PUBLIC SCHOOLS I think there are advantages of public schools. With that being said, there are also disadvantages. Is there anything as exciting, special, memorable, and sad as a 1st birthday? And, at least to me, it is a little sad too. They arent a baby anymore. They have tasted independence and realize the whole world is out there waiting to explore. Its a time to reflect on that amazing year & the wonder & gift that life is.
Goofy is turning 3! He is a BIG Elmo fan so the theme was easy to decide! At this point we usually just invite family & he is the oldest cousin. The other kiddos are all 1-4 months old so no games for just Goofy.
