For our marshmallow shooters we used simple things we found around our house.

Cut out the bottom of a Dixie cup.

You need a medium size sturdy cup.

Marshmallow shooter experiment

Cut off the tip of a balloon.

for this summer fun ideas you will start by cutting the bottom out of your cup

It can be any color you have laying around leftover from a birthday party.

Pull the balloon over the top of the cut end of the Dixie cup.

you’re free to help secure this with a rubber band if you like.

cut the mouth part and neck off of the balloon so it will stretch over the bottom of the cup

For younger kids you may want to.

Now you get to play!

pull the balloon over the bottom of the cup. You may need to cut off more of the balloon tip if it is too snug of a fit

Just load with a mini marshmallow into the cup so it sits on the balloon at the bottom.

Now put your hands on the ouside of the cup, pinch the balloon and pull it back gently.
