Leaves of the Bible is a fun, creative activity to help kids learn the Books of the Bible.
If youve been around my website for any amount of time youll see that I like to make learningFUN!
My husband made the stand, trunk, and branches from 3/4 PVC Pipe.
It is inexpensive and easy to work with.
I spray painted it light brown.
Then I bought a bag of leaves from Joan Fabrics (in their floral department).
These leaves looked more realistic and will hold up better than construction paper leaves.
I printed off labels so the Books of the Bible would be clear.
I attached the label with more hot glue to check that they stuck.
Our tree is about 48 tall (a good height for 1st and 2nd grade).
I store all the leaves in a large ziplock bag.
They are well suited to most kids in elementary school.
