Christmas Bell Craft
I got the idea for this project from the classic Christmas song Silver Bells.
These jingling silver bells really ring, and are made from recycled egg cartons.
This was one of my favorite recycled craft projects to date!
Our egg cartons actually have a line marking this point, which made it much easier to cut.
At any rate, you want the egg cups to look like little bells.
Poke a hole in the very center of the egg carton.
Paint the egg cups silver on the inside and out.
Let the paint dry.
Thread the stem through the top of the jingle bell and up through the hole in the egg carton.
This will hold the bell in place.
Tie a bow around the top of the egg cup bell and youre done!
The kids were so pleased at how easy this project was, yet how adorable it looks when finished.
They spent most of their day ringing the bells at one another, which made for a festive-sounding afternoon.
