How to Draw A Cartoon Giraffe Lets Get Started!
We will go through each element to see to it that you dont get lost, however!
First, we will begin with the eye of the giraffe.
We will also draw some small eyelashes coming from the eyelid.
Next, you’re able to draw the face outline of the giraffe.
This will be drawn with some curved, rounded lines, and the jaw will be especially rounded.
The muzzle for the face will be a separate section that has some nostrils and a smiling mouth.
For the top of the head, there will be two small horns and some small ears.
Each one will also end in a two-tipped hoof.
There will be an empty space where the belly is, but we will fill that in soon!
Then, we will add the other front leg of the giraffe.
This one will look very similar to the first one, but it will be facing the other direction.
Thats all there is to it for this step, and then we can move on to step 4.
The other leg will be the second back leg, and it will be shaped a bit differently.
This is because it is bent at the knee to create a jauntier pose for the giraffe.
Once that leg is drawn, we will then add the tail of the giraffe.
The tail will be thin and wavy and have a pointy tuft of hair at the end.
With these drawn, we can move on to the final details inthe next step of the guide!
Giraffes have a rather specific set of pattern details covering their bodies, and we will draw these now.
They are essentially some angular shapes of varying sizes that cover the giraffe without touching each other.

it’s possible for you to start by simplifying the parts that are giving you problems.
For instance, lets say youre having a hard time drawing the spots on the giraffe.
If thats so, then it’s possible for you to draw simpler shapes instead.
This will give it a different look, but not a worse one!
Practice can also help, so dont be afraid to do a few practice sketches before you draw.
In this picture, we used various golden yellows for much of the giraffes coloring.
Then, we used some lighter browns for the spots that make up the pattern.
Similar browns were used for the hair and hoof elements as well.
These are the colors we chose, but you could also go with different ones if you prefer!
