Sight Word Game
Do you remember playing Guess Who as a child?
Or with your children?
I absolutely loved this game.
It was so fun to pick different characters and guess who my opponent had.
I tried to be so sneaky with my questions too.
This is the inspiration behind this fun Guess WhoSight Word Games.
Kids can practice important sight words while playing a super fun game.
Use thissight word games for kindergartenwith preschoolers and kindergartners.
Some beginning and some more difficult, but all at the kindergarten level.
Sight word practice
Children will pick a card, without seeing and without showing their opponent.
This is THEIR card.
When the game begins, the first person takes a turn and asks a question.
This could be is your sight word is?
or it could be something like does your sight word contain an I?
Whichever ones they can identify that fit with the question, they will mark off.
Sight Word Activity
The game continues until one person guesses their opponents sight word.
Whoever guesses first is the winner.
This can be a super quick game or it could take a bit of time.
Either way, your kids are going to want to play again!
