Lets start with the easy one.
The vowel team ou is most often found at the beginning or middle of syllables.
Words like ouch and ounce start with the ou sound and the letters ou are used.
Then we move into the next rule, and you would think it would be easy.
And for the most part, it is, but we have a few exceptions.
The generalization states that ow is used at the end of a word or syllable.
