Addition and subtraction activity
To play the game, give the children the game boards.
They will need one counter for each player.
Shuffle the cards and place them face down next to the game board.
The first player picks up the card on the top of the file.
They read the equation and work out the answer.
They then move to the closest square on the game board using the answer to the equation.
Addition and subtraction practice
Player two, then has their go.
The winner is the player that reaches the finish square first.
