As this was a family party for a 2 year old we kept it simple.
First we turked the kids into dog by giving them all cute dog ears.
For this simple sonstruction paper dog craft, we made a headbandout of white cardstock paper and tape.
The kids seemed to really enjoy being able to pick their own dog ears and looked so cute too!
Dog theme birthday party ideas
The main activity was a Puppy adoption center.
This was a HUGE hit!
I had the kids pick a bone out of a hat that had a number on it.
This was the random order in which they got to pick their puppy to adopt.
I got one extra so even the last kid would have a choice.
These super adorable, cuddly puppies were wonderful.
I got them fromStuffed Safari.
I love that they each had their own personality they are so lovable!
They got Puppy Vitamins (gummy bears with label) to add to their bag too.
I included these in their thank you note.
It was a little too early for our birthday girl who was napping, but she did GREAT!
It was also a nice time so we wouldnt need to serve much food.
Dog Themed Party
Here is the birthday girl opening her presents!
She was so expressive with Oohs as soon as the paper came off.
It was so much fun!
After opening presents shed give out hugs to the giver.
Curious what our 2 year olds favorite toys are?
