One subject that is the most challenging for kids who look forward to holiday fun is writing.
Writing takes a certain amount of patience and it requires one to sit still and concentrate.

1.ProvideWriting Prompts: Providing writing prompts will decrease writing stress by giving the child a topic to write about.
One challenge of writing for many children is simply coming up with topics to write about.
2.Free Writing without Editing First: Writing can be intimidating to children.
Allow your child to simply write without the stress of editing.
This will allow the child to get her thoughts on the page first.
Once all her thoughts are on the page then gently go over it and edit.
You may have to allow your child to tell you the story so you could write it first.
This method is fine and worthy of praise as well.
For the final writing have your child write it neatly and display it.
