A couple weekends ago it was Bald Eagle Day in Utah.
There were five different locations throughout the State that you could go to view Bald Eagles.
I didnt have the right zoom to capture good images but my brother got some great pictures.
The Eagle landing in front (pictured below) was carrying a fish.
Its completely free and it gives children the opportunity to be out in nature.
I created a great Bald Eagle craft to go along with Bald Eagle Day.
This project is so simple.
You will only need few things.

1.
Draw eagle head
Draw and cut an eagle head shape out of a white foam sheet.
Glue feathers to a head
Glue White Feathers to the eagle head shape using craft glue.
Set aside to dry.
Make eagles neck
Draw and cut eagles neck out of a dark brown foam sheet.
Add brown feathers to the neck
Glue Brown Feathers to the eagles neck shape using craft glue as shown.
Set aside to dry.
Time for beak
Draw and cut eagles beak out of a yellow foam sheet.
Glue white foam to a brown one
Assemble your bald eagle.
Glue white foam sheet on top of brown foam sheet.
Add beak
Glue yellow beak on top of white foam sheet as shown.
Glue the eye
Glue the Wiggly Eye to the front of the eagle.
And here you have beautiful bald eagle that your kids will love!
